Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia), also known as Malaysian ginseng or Longjack, is a flowering plant native to Southeast Asia. It has been used for centuries in traditional Malaysian and Indonesian medicine as a tonic for energy, libido, and overall vitality. The root contains bioactive compounds, particularly eurycomanone, which are believed to be responsible for its effects.
Modern research has focused on Tongkat Ali's potential to support healthy testosterone levels, energy, and stress resilience. It is particularly popular among men looking to support hormonal balance, athletic performance, and libido. Quality supplements are standardized to contain specific percentages of eurycomanone.
Energy & Vitality
Traditionally used to combat fatigue and increase energy. Some studies show improvements in physical performance and reduced fatigue.
Libido & Sexual Health
One of the most researched benefits. Multiple studies suggest Tongkat Ali may support healthy libido and sexual function in men.
Testosterone Support
Research suggests it may help support healthy testosterone levels, particularly in men with low baseline levels or those experiencing stress.
Generally Well Tolerated
Tongkat Ali is generally considered safe at recommended doses. Some people may experience mild digestive upset when first starting.
